The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:
1. In Bases of the legislation of Ukraine on health protection (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 4, Art. 19 with the following changes):
The Item "d" of part one of Article 6 to state 1) in the following edition:
"e) the qualified medical and rehabilitation care with ensuring proper level of personal data protection, including the free choice of the doctor and rehabilitation specialist, the choice of methods of treatment and rehabilitation according to recommendations of the doctor and rehabilitation specialist, the choice of healthcare institution, and also access to necessary medicines and medical products according to the procedure, established by the legislation";
Part third of Article 39 to add 2) with the offer of the following content:
"The attending physician shall inform the patient who reached age of majority or the physical persons determined by part two of this Article on possible effects for health of the patient in case of use of medicines, in particular concerning indications and contraindications, and also possible undesirable reactions, including accustoming/resistance which can take place in case of use of medicine according to recommended by the doctor of dosage and method of application for treatment, diagnostics or prevention of disease";
