About modification and amendments in the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Article 8 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of June 30, 2021 (further - the Code):
Part 3 to state 1) in the following edition:
"3. The summary and the main results of the action made in pre-judicial production with audiovideo are specified in the brief protocol constituted in the course of this production action.
The original of audiovideo is stored on the carrier intended for storage of electronic data; if it is kept on the mobile carrier, then the carrier is applied to the protocol.";
Part 5 to state 2) in the following edition:
"5. The course and results of the action made in judicial proceedings are fixed by audio recording and computer method, except as specified, provided by this Code. The summary and the main results of action fixed by means of audiovideo in judicial proceedings are specified in the brief protocol constituted in the course of this production action. The original of audiovideo is stored on the carrier intended for storage of electronic data; if it is kept on the mobile carrier, then the carrier is applied to the protocol.";
Part 7 to state 3) in the following edition:
"7. The materials of criminal proceedings fixed by electronic method (electronic criminal proceedings or electronic criminal case) are stored in electronic system, and the documents prepared by computer or hand-written method - also in the paper version. The documents prepared by computer or hand-written method, and also contents of the data which are stored on the carriers intended for storage of electronic data or on mobile electronic media it is loaded into electronic system. Objects and other materials are stored in quality of components of electronic materials of production, and their photos are loaded into electronic system. The list of these objects and materials is also loaded into electronic system";
