About modification and amendments in the Law "About Diplomatic Service"

Article 1. Part 4 of article 8 of the Law of October 24, 2001 as ZR-249 "About diplomatic service" (further - the Law) to recognize invalid.
Article 2. In article 9 of the Law:
1) to state part 1 in the following edition:
"1. The position of the secretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is position of civil service. The secretary general performs the powers assigned to the secretary general of state body, established by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.";
2) parts 2 and 3 to recognize invalid.
Article 3. In article 10 of the Law:
1) to state parts 5-8 in the following edition:
"5. On the basis of the decisions of the government under body of diplomatic service of the Republic of Armenia in foreign states can act the attache concerning defense, military and trade attaches, representatives of the Republic of Armenia in the specialized international organizations.
6. The attache on defense, military attaches can have deputies and assistants.
7. On the basis of the international treaties of the Republic of Armenia the decision of the government under body of diplomatic service of the Republic of Armenia in foreign states other attaches and representatives according to the procedure and on the conditions established by these agreements can act.
8. Positions of the attache and representatives, and also military attaches, deputy the military attaches and assistants specified in parts 5 and 6 of this Article are determined by the decision of the Prime Minister.
To add 2) with parts 9-11 of the following content:
"9. The attache and representatives specified in parts 5 and 6 of this Article are appointed to position and deputies and assistants to military attaches - by order of the head of competent state body are dismissed according to the decision of the Prime Minister, and attache concerning defense.
