About increase in the sizes of the salary, pensions and benefits

For the purpose of expansion of scale of the measures directed to increase in level of living of the population, continuation of policy of consecutive increase in the income of citizens, and also strengthenings of their social protection:

1. Raise since December 1, 2023:

sizes of the salary of employees of state-financed organizations, pensions and benefits for 7 percent;

basic settlement size for 3 percent.

2. Establish since December 1, 2023 in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

the minimum wage - 1 050 000 sum a month;

basic settlement size - 340 000 sum a month;

the basic size of calculation of pension - 372 000 sum a month;

the minimum size of old-age pension - 725 000 sum a month;

the minimum size of disability pension, including disability pension in case of incomplete length of service, - 800 000 sum a month;

the size of the disability benefit paid to disabled citizens and benefits to persons with disability since the childhood - 800 000 sum a month;

the minimum size of pension, including allowances, to persons which became disabled people as a result of war of 1941 - 1945, and her participants, and also the being minor prisoners of fascist concentration camps and persons working during blockade of the city of Leningrad - 3 527 000 sum a month;

the size of old-age pension receiving pensions in the amount of the established minimum size of old-age pension (725 000 sum) to 800 000 sum - 800 000 sum a month;

the old-age benefit size to the citizens who do not have necessary length of service - 648 000 sum a month;

the minimum size of old-age pension in case of incomplete length of service taking into account surcharge - 648 000 sum a month;

the benefit size to the legal representative of the child occupied with care of the children with disability aged to 18 years needing foreign leaving - 648 000 sum a month;

the size of benefit for one disabled member of the family of the receiver of benefit on the occasion of loss of the supporter - 648 000 sum a month with addition on 212 000 sum on each following disabled family member;

the minimum size of pension on one disabled member of the family of the receiver of pension on the occasion of loss of the supporter - 648 000 sum a month with pension payment to each following disabled family member according to the operating procedure.

3. To cover the expenses connected with increase in the sizes of the salary of employees of state-financed organizations, pensions and benefits at the expense of means of the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the off-budget Pension fund under the Ministry of Economics and finance.

4. Recommend to employers to make increase in the size of the salary according to the minimum wage, having provided salary payment not lower than a minimum wage, the legislation established by acts.

5. And finance to provide to the Ministry of Economics allocation of the additional resources from the Government budget required for ensuring execution of this Decree, expenses of the salary for the account of introduction of additional established posts as a result of creation of additional capacities in educational and medical institutions, increases in number of pupils and the number of primary medical institutions.

6. To the Ministry of Economics and finance:

together with National news agency of Uzbekistan, National broadcasting company of Uzbekistan and the Agency of information and mass communications to organize work on extended coverage of the purposes and tasks of this Decree expected results in mass media, the Internet and social networks;

together with the interested ministries and departments in two-month time to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on the changes and amendments in acts of the legislation following from this Decree.

7. Assign to the deputy prime minister D. A. Kuchkarov the personal responsibility for ensuring execution of this Decree.
