About modification of some regulations (change of the regulatory base connected with the Law on selection of judges and assessment of their activities No. 147/2023)
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Law on judicial system No. 514/1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 15-17, 62), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. In Article 16:
in part (3) words "To the law on selection, assessment of activities and career of judges No. 154/2012." shall be replaced with words "To the law on selection of judges and assessment of their activities No. 147/2023.";
in part (5-1) words of "board according to activities of judges" shall be replaced with words "Boards on selection and assessment of judges".
2. In Article 23-2:
in part (7) words "boards on selection and career of judges or board according to activities of judges," shall be replaced with words "Boards on selection and assessment of judges,";
in part (7-1) words "board on selection and career of judges and board according to activities of judges" shall be replaced with words "Board on selection and assessment of judges";
in part (8) words "boards on selection and career of judges or board according to activities of judges." shall be replaced with words "Boards on selection and assessment of judges.".
3. In Article 23-3:
in Item d) parts (1) words "boards on selection and career of judges and board according to activities of judges" shall be replaced with words "Boards on selection and assessment of judges";
in part (the words "in board on selection and career of judges and board according to activities of judges" shall be replaced with words 2) "in Board on selection and assessment of judges".
Art. II. - In the Law on the status of the judge No. 544/1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 15-17, 63), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
