About modification and amendments in the Law "About the State Control of Safety of Foodstuff"

Article 1. Item 4 of part 8 of article 13 of the Law of June 21, 2014, "About the state control of safety of foodstuff" (further - the Law) to declare ZR-143 invalid.
Article 2. To state article 16 of the Law in the following edition:
"Article 16. Procedure for sampling of the imported foodstuff and laboratory testing within the State border control
1. Sampling of the imported foodstuff within the State border control is made in the cases and procedure approved by the Order of the Government.
2. Sampling and laboratory researches of foodstuff are made by the certification bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union chosen as the owner of goods and the conformity assessment body of the Republic of Armenia included in the Unified register of test laboratories and appointed according to requirements of technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (further - body for assessment).
3. The body for assessment makes sampling in the presence of the official exercising the state border control and represents on testing by the cover letter of authorized body.
4. By sampling separate from reserve sample which is sealed batch or stamp and check to authorized body. The reserve sample is stored in the corresponding storage conditions for this product.
5. The reserve sample is transferred to authorized body to testing with the cover letter.
6. Expenses on transportation and testing of samples are paid by the owner of product.
7. Before appointment of national reference test laboratory in the Republic of Armenia, in case of disagreement with results of laboratory researches, the owner of products at own expense directs reserve test to reference test laboratory of other state, according to the list approved by the order of the Government. The answer to results of laboratory researches is considered final.
