About entering of the amendments into some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan directed to improvement of investment and business environment in the Republic of Karakalpakstan

Large-scale work on complex social and economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, liberalization of its economy, support of entrepreneurship is carried out.
Along with it there is need of acceptance of additional measures for the purpose of further increase in economic capacity of the Republic of Karakalpakstan by increase in investment appeal, improvement of business environment and employment of youth.
This Law to the Tax code of the Republic of Uzbekistan makes the changes providing decrease till January 1, 2028 to 50 percent of the income tax, the receipts tax, the property tax and the land tax for subjects of entrepreneurship of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Besides, the rate of the social tax for the legal entities performing business activity is established in the amount of 1 percent, and the social tax paid by individual entrepreneurs decreases by 12 times for persons performing activities in the territory of the cities by 6 times - for persons performing activities in the territory of areas and is established in single size of basic settlement size in year.
Besides, the changes providing release till October 1, 2027 from the payment of the consular fee and the state fee collected for registration on temporary and to the permanent residence of foreign specialists (teachers) involved to educational process of the non-state educational organizations in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan are made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the state fee".
This Law will serve increase in investment appeal of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, development of entrepreneurship, creation of new workplaces, further improvement of quality of education in the non-state educational organizations.
