About realization of regulations of the Multilateral agreement of competent authorities on automatic exchange of information about financial accounts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
This law establishes the main regulatory base for ensuring realization of regulations of the Multilateral agreement of competent authorities on automatic exchange of information about financial accounts (further - the Agreement).
The terms and expressions used in this law matter, provided by the General standard of the reporting. For the purposes of this law the following concepts are determined:
competent authority - body which according to international treaties which party is the Republic of Moldova is authorized to perform exchange of information. In case of the Republic of Moldova competent authority is the State Tax Administration;
the participating jurisdiction - jurisdiction with which the Republic of Moldova has the current agreement according to which the relevant jurisdiction will provide information specified in the Section II of the Agreement and which is determined in the list approved by the Ministry of Finance according to the sample given in appendix E to the Agreement, and published on its official page;
accountable jurisdiction - jurisdiction with which the Republic of Moldova has the current agreement according to which shall provide information specified in the Section II of the Agreement and which is determined in the list approved by the Ministry of Finance according to the sample given in appendix A to the Agreement and published on its official web page;
financial institution from the Republic of Moldova - any financial institution which is resident of the Republic of Moldova except the departments of the relevant financial institution which are outside the Republic of Moldova and any department of the financial institution which is not resident of the Republic of Moldova if the relevant department is in the Republic of Moldova;
