About entering of amendments and changes into the Law "About Geographical Instructions"

Article 1. Regarding 1 article 2 of the Law of April 29, 2010 No. ZR-60 "About geographical instructions" (further – the Law):
The concept "geographical specifying" after the word "countries" to add 1) with the words "or any other";
The concept "name (generic) public" to state 2) in the following edition:
"the name of general use (generic) – the name of products which though contains the name of the territory (settlement), certain area or country in which these products were initially made or introduced into circulation however thanks to continuous general use turned into the name accepted for products and is not identified with products occurring from this territory (settlement), certain area or the country;";
The word "existing" to exclude 3) after the concept "place name".
Article 2. To state part 1 of article 7 of the Law in the following edition:
"1. Legal protection of geographical instructions, names of places of origin and the guaranteed traditional products in the Republic of Armenia is provided:
1) based on their registration according to the procedure, established by this Law;
2) owing to the international treaties ratified by the Republic of Armenia.".
Article 3. In article 8 of the Law:
Parts 1 and 6 after the word "countries" to add 1) with the words "or any other";
2) in Item 3 of part 4 of the word "inspection check-up" shall be replaced with words "supervision";
Shall be replaced with words 3) in part 9 of the word "the specifying showing origin of alcoholic drink from the territory or the region, the area or the settlement of this country" "the territory or the settlement, certain area or in exceptional cases – the countries or any other name".
