About entering of amendments into the Law "About Medical Care and Servicing of the Population"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 8, 2022
Article 1. No. ZR-42 "About medical care and servicing of the population" (further – the Law) to add part 1 of article 2 of the Law of March 4, 1996 with Item 65 of the following content:
"65) consultation – meeting of doctors of one or different specialties which is performed for the purpose of assessment of the state of health of the patient, confirmation of the diagnosis and determination of tactics of medical care and servicing.".
Article 2. To add article 3 of the Law with Articles 8 and 9 of the following content:
"8. The procedure for the choice of the doctor rendering services in primary health protection (the family doctor, the therapist, the pediatrician), registration and exit from registration at it of the population, procedure of replacement with the resident of the doctor for the primary health protection (PHP), approximate numbers of the population serviced by the narrow and rendering dispensary services specialists approves authorized body.
9. The list of the services in medical care and servicing rendered using the latest and expensive technologies approves authorized body.".
Article 3. Add the law with Article 3.1 of the following content:
"Article 3.1. Consultation
1. The decision on the organization of consultation is made by the head of the medical organization in whom for the purpose of receipt of medical care and servicing there is patient, at the initiative of the attending physician or according to the written requirement of the patient or his legal representative.
2. Doctors of other medical organizations can participate in consultation.
3. The conclusion of consultation is signed by participants of consultation, except for parts 4 of this Article, and entered in medical documents of the patient.
4. The consultation can be performed also with use of telemedicine.
