In recent years number of measures for suppression of cases of illegal use of energy resources and to ensuring compliance with instructions for use by consumers is performed by natural gas and the electric power.
However, despite the taken measures, the number of the violations of the law connected with illegal use of energy resources increases.
With respect thereto there is need of strengthening of responsibility for illegal use of energy resources and failure to carry out of instructions of authorized bodies for this sphere.
This Law of action, connected with illegal use of the electric power, gas and water supply system for commercial purposes, are qualified as theft, the administrative responsibility for failure to carry out of instructions of Inspectorate for control of electricity use, oil products and gas is established in case of the Department of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its territorial administrations, and also jurisdiction of this Inspection and to its territorial administrations of the administrative cases connected with abuse of regulations of use of the electric power and gas.
This Law will form the basis for the prevention of offenses in the field of illegal use of energy resources, ensuring inevitability of punishment for making of these acts, and also forming of single approach in judicial and investigative practice on such categories of offenses.
