About modification and amendments in the Law "About the State Control of Safety of Foodstuff"

Article 1. Regarding 1 article 2 of the Law of June 21, 2014 No. ZR-143 "About the state control of safety of foodstuff" (further – the Law):
"The controlling authorized body through frontier of the Republic of Armenia" shall be replaced with words 1) in Item 3 of the word "the controlling authorized body, and at check points through frontier of the Republic of Armenia – customs authorities";
To add 2) with Item 3.1 of the following content:
"3. 1) the state border control at check points through frontier – functions on the state border control provided by this Law at check points through frontier which are performed only by studying of documents, verification of documents, visual survey or visual inspection (identification of loads). The state border control at check points through frontier is exercised by customs authorities;".
Article 2. In article 6 of the Law:
Heading after words of "Authorized body" to add 1) with the words "and the state body exercising the state border control at check points through frontier";
To add 2) with part 5.1 following of content:
"5.1. The functions of the state border control provided by this Article at check points through frontier perform customs authorities as the state border control at check points through frontier.";
3) parts 6-9 to recognize invalid.
Article 3. In article 13 of the Law:
Shall be replaced with words 1) regarding 1 word of "territorial subdivisions (boundary checkpoints and the regional centers)" "territorial subdivisions";
To add 2) with part 1.1 following of content:
"1.1. The functions of the state border control provided by this Article at check points through frontier perform customs authorities as the state border control at check points through frontier.";
