About modification and amendments in the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Article 190 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of July 1, 1998:

Pretrial investigation on cases on corruption crimes, stipulated in Clause 6 Criminal codes of the Republic of Armenia, is conducted by investigators of Anti-corruption committee if crimes were committed by the officials or persons holding public positions established by parts 3 and 4 of article 308 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia in connection with their official capacity, except for cases on the crimes provided by Articles 200, 201 and 214, pretrial investigation on which investigators of the Investigative Committee carry on.
Pretrial investigation on cases on the crimes provided by Articles 308, 309 about 375 Criminal codes of the Republic of Armenia is conducted by investigators of Anti-corruption committee, except as specified, when act was made not from mercenary motives and was followed by use of violence, threat of use of violence or with use of weapon or special means.
Pretrial investigation on cases on the crimes provided by Articles 154. 2, 154.9, 154.10, 161.2, 161.5, 310, 310.1, 311, 311.1, 311.2, 312, 312.1, 312.2, 313, 314, 314. 2, 314.3 and 352 Criminal codes of the Republic of Armenia, is conducted only by investigators of Anti-corruption committee.";
To add 3) with part 8.1 following of content:
"8.1. Pretrial investigation on cases on crimes, stipulated in Article 190 Criminal codes of the Republic of Armenia, conducts that body of pretrial investigation, during consideration of the case in production at which this crime, except as specified, provided by part 5.1 of this Article was solved.".
