About entering of amendment into the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. Part 1 of Article 1188 of the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 1998 to add with part 1.1 following of content:
"1.1. If the personality of the citizen is not confirmed, at least, within a month from the moment of his death, date of state registration of death is considered date of opening of inheritance.".
Article 2. Final part and transitional provisions
1. This Law becomes effective next day after its official publication.
2. Operation of this Law extends also to the relations by inheritance of those testators who died after September 27, 2020 and whose personality was not confirmed, at least, within a month from the moment of death, except as specified, when as of the date of entry into force of this Law there is statement for inheritance acceptance of the testator or receipt of the certificate on the right to the inheritance handed to the notary in the place of opening of inheritance with observance of requirements, stipulated by the legislation.
3. If state registration of death of the citizen who died after September 27, 2020 which personality was not confirmed, at least, within a month is performed before entry into force of this Law, then the inheritance can be accepted within six months after entry into force of this Law, except as specified, when as of the date of entry into force of this Law there is statement for inheritance acceptance of the testator or receipt of the certificate on the right to the inheritance handed to the notary in the place of opening of inheritance with observance of requirements, stipulated by the legislation.
