About modification and amendments in the Water code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Item 3 of part 1 of article 14 of the Water code of the Republic of Armenia of June 4, 2002 (further - the Code) the word "penalties" shall be replaced with words "responsibility measures".
Article 2. To state heading of Chapter 5.1 of the Code in the following edition:
"Chapter 5.1. Responsibility".
Article 3. To state heading and part 1 of article 47.1 of the Code in the following edition:
"Article 47.1. The responsibility applied by the Regulating commission
1. The regulating commission in case of non-execution or improper execution by the licensing persons of requirements of this Law, legal acts of the Regulating commission has the right to apply the responsibility measures provided by this Law, to redeem the situation which was before violation, to make the actions following from them (including calculation, recalculation and other), and also to make recommendations about elimination them or violation taking into account the features established by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About regulating authority of public services". The following measures of responsibility are applied to licensed persons:
1) prevention;
2) penalty;
3) suspension of action of the license;
4) cancellation of the license.".
Article 4. To add part 1 of article 79 of the Code with Item 9 of the following content:
"9) differentiation of rates because they are vulnerable consumers.".
Article 5. This Law becomes effective next day after its official publication.
