About introduction of amendments to article 8 of the Law on the National center for fight against corruption No. 1104/2002

Art. I. - In article 8 of the Law on the National center for fight against corruption No. 1104/2002 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2012, Art. No. 209-211, 683), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

"(1) the director directs the Center. The director of the Center (further - the director) is appointed to position by Parliament according to the offer at least 20 deputies by a majority vote of the elected deputies in the presence of the positive conclusion of the Commission on points of law, appointments and immunity for five-year term, without possibility of appointment to new term.";

parts (3) and (to recognize 6) invalid;

parts (9) and (to state 10) in the following edition:

"(9) the Director responds from position Parliament according to the offer at least one third of the elected deputies by a majority vote of the elected deputies in the presence of the positive conclusion of the Commission on points of law, appointments and immunity in case:

a) ascertainings by results of the parliamentary control exercised according to this law, discrepancies to requirements to position assignment;

b) receipts of negative result when testing professional integrity according to the procedure, stipulated in Article 14;

c) ascertainings by results of the parliamentary control exercised according to this law, unsatisfactory activities in the field of the prevention and fight against corruption, making of the acts adjacent to corruption and the facts of corruption behavior.
