About modification and amendments in the Constitutional law "Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia"

Article 1. In article 21 of the Constitutional law of February 7, 2018 No. ZR-95 "The judicial code of the Republic of Armenia" (further - the Law):

1) from part 2 words "judicial control of pre-judicial criminal proceedings, and also" to exclude;

Part 2.1 to state 2) in the following edition:

"2.1. The cases on judicial control of pre-judicial criminal proceedings which are subject to consideration in Trial Court of the general jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan and also all petitions for implementation of the investigation and search operations held in the territory of the Republic of Armenia with the permission of courts are considered only by certain judges of criminal specialization of Trial Court of the general jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan.";

To add 3) with parts 2.2 and 2.3 of the following content:

"2.2. The cases on judicial control of pre-judicial criminal proceedings which are subject to consideration in Trial Court of the general jurisdiction of the respective area, except for petitions for implementation of investigation and search operations are considered only by certain judges of criminal specialization of Trial Court of the general jurisdiction of this area.

2.3. The judges provided by part 2.2 of this Article in addition to the cases provided by the same part consider also another matters assigned by this Code to the judge of criminal specialization.".
