About modification of article 59-1 of the Law of Ukraine "About local self-government in Ukraine" concerning settlement of conflicting interests in activities of deputies of local councils and rural, settlement, city Chapters

1. Article 59-1 of the Law of Ukraine "About local self-government in Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1997, No. 24, Art. 170; 2014, 49, 2056) to state No. to the Art. in the following edition:

"Article 59-1. Conflict of interest

1. The rural, settlement, city chairman, the secretary, the deputy of village, settlement, city council, the chairman, the vice-chairman, the deputy of district, regional, district council in the city publicly notifies on conflict of interest which arose during participation in meeting of council, of other collegiate organ (the commission, committee, board, etc.), to the relevant collegiate organ and does not take part in consideration, preparation and decision making by the relevant collegiate organ.

2. If nonparticipation of persons specified in part one of this Article in decision making leads to loss of powers of the relevant council, other collegiate organ, person at which the conflict of interest is available, take part in acceptance by council, other collegiate organ of the decision, on condition of the public independent notification on conflict of interest during the meeting of collegiate organ.

3. If the notification on conflict of interest is performed at meeting of council, other collegiate organ, information on such notification is surely entered in the minutes of council, other collegiate organ".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
