About modification of article 19 of the Law on legal profession No. 1260/2002
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - Article 19 of the Law on legal profession No. 1260/2002 (repeated publication: 2010, No. 159, the Art. 582), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with part (1-1) following contents:
"(1-1) V departure from part provisions (1) in exceptional cases the term of professional training can be prolonged based on the decision of Council of the Union of lawyers.".
Art. II. - (1) For lawyers-trainees whose term of professional training expired and for which the Union of lawyers could not organize qualification examination in connection with COVID-19, pandemic the term of professional training is prolonged by right to the organization of qualification examination.
(2) This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
