About entering of amendment into the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 with Article 226.2 of the following content:

"Article 226.2. Public calls for use of violence, public justification or promotion of violence

1. The public calls for use of violence in relation to person or persons caused by floor, race, skin color, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion, outlook, political or other views, belonging to ethnic minorities, property status, the birth, disability, age or other circumstances of personal or social nature, public justification or promotion of such violence if there are no signs of the crimes provided by part 4 articles 225, of articles 226, 226.1, 301, of 385, 397.1 of this Code:

it is punished by penalty in the amount of fiftyfold to the stapyatidesyatikratny size of minimum wage either arrest no more than two months or imprisonment no more than one year.

2. Act, provided by part of 1 this Article which were made:

1) group of persons in prior consent or organized group;

2) with use of official capacity:

Are punished by penalty in the amount of hundred-fiftyfold to the two hundredfold size of minimum wage either arrest from two to three months or imprisonment from one to three months with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities from one to three years or without it.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
