About introduction of amendments to the Law on informing consumers concerning foodstuff No. 279/2017
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Law on informing consumers concerning foodstuff No. 279/2017 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 7-17, 54) to make the following changes:
1. Item l) parts (Article 8 to state 1) in the following edition:
"l) the declaration of nutrition value containing the following obligatory information:
- energy value;
- content of fats;
- saturated fatty acids;
- carbohydrates;
- sugar;
- proteins;
- salt;".
2. Add Article 41 with part (1-1) following contents:
"(1-1) Provision of subparagraphs of the first and third Item l) parts (1) Article 8 become effective since July 12, 2021.".
Art. II. - This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
