About introduction of amendments to the Law on the state and municipal companies No. 246/2017

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on the state and municipal companies No. 246/2017 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 441-450, 750), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 11:

part (to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) the Annual financial reporting of the state companies is subject to statutory external audit, and the annual financial reporting of the municipal companies is subject to statutory external audit if they enter category of average subjects, large subjects or subjects of public interest, according to the legislation on financial accounting.";

2. Item b) parts (Article 16 to state 2) in the following edition:

"b) the cost of the transaction / the interconnected transactions or the property which is subject of transactions/transactions exceeds 10000 lei.".

3. In Article 18:

part (to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) the State/municipal company shall place the charter of the company, domestic situations, the annual statement of the company and audit reports on the official web page and the official web page of the founder.";

Item and) parts (to state 2) in the following edition:

"a) information on the number of employees of the company, about the created workplaces, the average monthly salary on the company. The salary of administrative board (founders, members of administrative boards, managing directors, members of audit committee) is specified separately;";

add Article with part (4) the following content:

"(4) the State/municipal company provides informing on the questions which are of public interest, responding to the requests of mass media and civil society in strict accordance with the legislation on information access.".

Art. II. - To the government in two-month time from the date of entry into force of this law:

- provide to Parliament of the offer on reduction of the current legislation to compliance with this law;
