About modification of some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on industrial safety of hazardous production facilities No. 116/2012 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 40-49, 83), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Item 5) parts (Article 5 to declare 1) invalid.

2. Item l) parts (Article 10 to state 10) in the following edition:

"l) have the agreement of compulsory liability insurance for damnification in use of hazardous production facility;".

3. In Article 16:

part (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(2) the liability insurance amount Size for possible damnification is determined based on results of risk assessment. When transporting dangerous substances through settlements the size of insurance sum is determined proceeding from the maximum possible damage in case of breakdown and/or accident of the vehicle.";

4. Item g) parts (Article 18 to declare 10) invalid.

5. Section "V. In ELECTRICAL POWER AREA" to declare appendices 1 invalid.

Art. II. – In the sanction of part (5) article 159 of the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 78-84, 100), with subsequent changes to replace the words "from 200 to 400" and "from 500 to 700" respectively with the words "from 15 to 30" and "from 48 to 60".

Art. III. – (1) This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, except for article II which becomes effective after six months from the date of publication of this law.

(2) to the Government and the National commission on the financial market in nine-months time from the date of publication of this law to submit to Parliament for review the bill on compulsory liability insurance for damnification in use of hazardous production facility.
