About entering of amendments and changes into the Code of the Republic of Armenia about administrative offenses

Article 1. Regarding 1 article 23 of the Code of the Republic of Armenia about administrative offenses of December 6, 1985 (further - the Code):

To add 1) with Item 1.1 of the following content:

"1.1. penal point;";

To add 2) with Item 4.1 of the following content:

"4. 1) suspension of the right of vehicle control;";

Item 5 to state 3) in the following edition:

"5) deprivation of the special right;".

Article 2. Regarding 1 article 24 of the Code the word "Objects" shall be replaced with words "Penal point, objects".

Article 3. Add the code with Article 25.1 of the following content:

"Article 25.1. Penal point

1. Penal points are applied to persons which allowed road traffic offenses (legislations in the field of traffic safety), in the cases provided by directly special part of this Code.

2. Person having the driving right vehicles from day of receipt of the car driver license of the right of vehicle control in the Republic of Armenia (from the date of the expiration of suspension of the right of vehicle control) is given 9 points for a period of one year. To the foreigner having the car driver license received in other state, and staying on the registry in the state register of the population, points are given from day of registration in the state register of the population (from day of the expiration of suspension of the right of vehicle control). Person having the right of control of vehicles on each subsequent period in one year is given 9 points, and the remaining balance of points for previous year is not postponed to the next year.
