About modification of some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on the public pension system No. 156/1998 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Item d) parts (Article 5 to state 2) in the following edition:

"d) the period of child care with heavy restriction of opportunities aged to 18 years, behind other person with heavy restriction of opportunities, performed by one of parents, the guardian or the custodian before acceptance to position of the personal assistant;".

2. In Article 20:

in part (1) words "restrictions of opportunities:" shall be replaced with words "the expressed or average restriction of opportunities:";

add Article with part (11) the following content:

"(11) Insured person with heavy restriction of opportunities owing to general disease receives pension on restriction of opportunities taking into account actually acquired insurance years of service constituting at least two years.".

Art. II. – Article 8 of the Law on the public social benefits to some categories of citizens No. 499/1999 (repeated publication: 2014, Art. No. 87-91, 214), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with Item and 1) of the following content:

"and 1) to persons with the heavy limited opportunities established aged up to 23 years – 100 percent;".

Art. III. – (1) This law becomes effective since January 1, 2020.

(2) to National cash desk of social insurance according to provisions of this law to make recalculation of the public social benefits concerning receivers of the public social benefits with the heavy restriction of opportunities established aged up to 23 years.

(3) to the Government in a month from the date of publication of this law in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to bring the regulations into accord with it.
