About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning ensuring transparency of property of providers of program service of multichannel digital radio television networks with national covering

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About television and broadcasting" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, No. 18, Art. 155; 2014, No. 20-21, of Art. 715; 2015, No. 45, Art. 409):

1) parts the second, third and sixth Article 12 to state in the following edition:

"2. In Ukraine it is forbidden to base and take part in the teleradio organizations or providers of program service:

to public authorities and local government bodies, legal entities which they founded, on all levels of chain of ownership of corporate laws of the teleradio organization or provider of program service if the decision on their creation or regulations on them does not provide powers to establish the teleradio organizations or providers of program service;

to the legal entities and physical persons entrepreneurs registered in offshore zones which list is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and also to stateless persons;

to physical persons and legal entities which are residents of the state recognized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the state aggressor or the state invader and also to legal entities participants (shareholders) of which are such legal entities or physical persons, at all levels of chain of ownership of corporate laws of the teleradio organization or provider of program service and the final beneficiary;

to political parties, the trade-union, religious organizations and legal entities which they created, at all levels of chain of ownership of corporate laws of the teleradio organization or provider of program service;

to citizens who according to the court verdict serve sentence in places of detention or are recognized as court incapacitated.
