About introduction of amendments to the Law "About Acts of Civil Status"

Article 1. "About acts of civil status" (further - the Law) to state article 4 of the Law of December 8, 2004 in the following edition:
"Article 4. The bodies performing state registration of acts of civil status
1. In the Republic of Armenia the state civil registrations established by part 2 of article 3 of this Law, introduction of changes in them, amendments and corrections, cancellation of these registration, recovery of the lost records maintaining or contents of books of acts of civil status and issue of duplicates of the certificates and other documents confirming the state civil registration and also other functions following from them provided by this Law perform territorial authorities of civil registration of municipal jurisdiction (further - territorial authority the REGISTRY OFFICE).
2. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia in the procedure established by the Government performs coordination of professional activity of territorial authorities the REGISTRY OFFICE, their control, and also other functions provided by this Law.
3. The functions established by part of 1 this Article perform also relevant divisions which are a part of the system of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. State registration of death in the city of Yerevan is performed only by the relevant division which is a part of the system of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
4. In foreign states of function, established by part of 1 this Article, perform the consular establishments of the Republic of Armenia which are in these countries, according to the procedure, established by this Law.
