About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About ecological formation and education of the population"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on February 7, 2017
Article 1. "About ecological formation and education of the population" (further - the Law) to state the last paragraph of article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of November 20, 2001 to ZR-264 in the following edition:
"ecological culture - the level of development of harmonious interaction of the person with the nature which is characterized by understanding and scientific justification of the first-priority decision by mankind of environmental problems that promotes healthy lifestyle, stable social and economic development, ecological safety of the country and each person, solidarity of generations with use of opportunities of the nature.".
Article 2. To state article 4 of the Law in the following edition:
"Article 4. The principles of state policy in the field of life-long ecological education and education
The basic principles of state policy of life-long ecological education and education are:
a) providing the state guarantee of receipt of ecological knowledge by the citizen of necessary minimum;
b) binding character of ecological education and education at all levels of education system, its continuity and complex nature;
c) inclusion of questions of ecological education and education in all state target and industry ecological programs;
d) orientation of ecological education and education in the course of the solution of tasks on protection of the surrounding environment;
e) ensuring multifigurativeness of cultures and traditions, preserving national color as ethnoecological system;
e) forming single estestvovedchesky and culturological the interconnected values for the person and the nature.".
Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
