About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About safety of persons which are subject to special state protection"

Article 1. In article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of December 3, 2003 "About safety of persons which are subject to special state protection" (further - the Law) the word "independence" to replace ZR-40-N with the word of "neutrality".

Article 2. In article 5 of the Law:

Part 2 to state 1) in the following edition:

"2. The state protection is provided:

1) to the President of the republic;

2) to the Prime Minister;

3) to the chairman of National assembly;

4) in the cases provided by part 2 of article 6.1 of this Law - to the candidate for the Prime Minister's position.

The president of the republic, the Prime Minister and the chairman of National assembly during their tenure, and the candidate for the Prime Minister's position - to the solution of question of appointment of the Prime Minister has no right to refuse the state protection.";

2) in part 3:

and. in the first offer of the word "according to the procedure and the terms established by the President of the Republic of Armenia" shall be replaced with words "the decision of the Prime Minister";

. the second offer to state in the following edition: "Protection of other persons can be performed by the competent state body established by the Prime Minister.";

To add 3) with part 3.1 following of content:

"3.1. The decision of the Prime Minister provided by part 3 of this Article is not subject to publication.";

4) in part 4:

and. in Item 2 of the word of "authorized body" shall be replaced with words "services of the state protection (further - service)";

. in the second paragraph, and also in all text of the law of the word of "authorized body" in the corresponding case forms shall be replaced with words "services".
