About entering of amendments and changes into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About anti-money laundering and terrorism financing"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on March 1, 2018

Article 1. ZR-80-N "About anti-money laundering and terrorism financing" (further - the Law) to add article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of May 26, 2008 with the new offer of the following content: "This Law governs also the relations concerning freezing of property of citizens in connection with distribution of weapons of mass destruction.".

Article 2. Regarding 1 article 3 of the Law:

To add 1) with Item 3.1 of the following content:

"3. 1) financing distribution of weapons of mass destruction is provision of property or provision of financial services for the purpose of making of acts, stipulated in Article 386 and part 2 of article 387 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia;";

Item 6 after words of "this Law" to add 2) with the word "4,";

3) the subitem "b" of Item 19 before words of "business relation" to add with words "transactions or";

4) in Item 28 of the word "money launderings and financings of terrorism", in Item 29 - "money launderings or financings of terrorism" shall be replaced with words "money launderings, financings of terrorism and financing of distribution of weapons of mass destruction";

5) Item 30 after the words "business relation" to add with the words "including attempt of transaction or adjustment of the business relation";

To add 6) with Item 33.1 of the following content:

"33. 1) the face tied with distribution of weapons of mass destruction is any person who was included the lists published under resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations or according to them, establishing target financial sanctions for distribution of weapons of mass destruction and (or) its financing;";

Item 37 after the word of "terrorism" to add 7) with the words "or distribution of weapons of mass destruction";
