About modification of Article 31 of the Maritime Code of the Republic of Moldova
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - Part (4) Article 31 of the Maritime Code of the Republic of Moldova approved by the Law No. 599/1999 (2001, 2), with subsequent changes and amendments, to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 1-4, in the following edition:
"(4) the vessel Acquired or constructed in other state acquires the swimming right under the flag of the Republic of Moldova from the moment of entering of the corresponding record into the ship register or the ship book and issues by the Agency of water transport of the interim certificate certifying this right. Such certificate is valid before completion of the procedure of permanent registration of the vessel and issue of the certificate certifying permanent registration, but no more than six months.".
Art. II. - To the government in three-months time from the date of entry into force of this law to bring the regulations into accord with this law.
