About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About the security market"

Article 1. In Item 5 of part 2 of article 98 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of October 11, 2007 "About the security market" (further - the Law) the words "in the register of owners of securities" shall be replaced with words ZR-195-N "in the register of owners (nominees) of securities", and in Item 6 of the word "about owners of shares" shall be replaced with words "about owners (nominees) of shares".
Article 2. To declare the subitem "v" of Item 3 of part 1 of article 176 of the Law invalid.
Article 3. State Article 197 in the following edition:
"Article 197. Provision of the list of owners (nominees)
1. The issuer has the right to request at any time from the Central depositary the list of owners (nominees) of the securities issued by the issuer, having provided the corresponding request about it to the Central depositary. In that case when the nominee is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of securities (further in this Article - the competent nominee), the list of owners (nominees) instead of name (name) of the owner can include name (names) of the competent nominee.
2. Within one working day after receipt of the request specified regarding 1 this Article, the Central depositary sends request to custodians (nominees) having at it security accounts of this issuer, requiring to provide the information about owners, and also competent nominees of securities of this issuer. In sense of this Article, data which, according to article 51 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About joint-stock companies", are subject to inclusion in the shareholder register of the company are considered as the information about owners, and also competent nominees of securities of this issuer.
