About introduction of amendments and changes in the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add Article 17 of the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 1998 (further – the Code) with part 5 of the following content:
"5. Content, procedure and conditions of compensation of the damage suffered by person which was affected by tortures are established by this Law.".
Article 2. To state part 9 of article 1087.2 of the Code in the following edition:
"9. The requirement about compensation of non-material damage can be brought into court as together with the requirement about establishment of violation of the right established by part 2 of Article 162.1 of this Code since the moment when person knew of violation, and after the introduction in legal force of the court resolution confirming violation of this right or within one year after this person knew of not cancelled and not appealed decision made by the investigator or the prosecutor on refusal in initiation of legal proceedings on not justifying basis or non-realization of criminal prosecution or cessation of production on criminal case or the termination of criminal prosecution.".
Article 3. To add Chapter 60 of the Code with paragraph 2.2 of the following content:
"2.2. Compensation to persons which were affected by tortures (Redress)
