About modification and amendments in the Water code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In the twelfth paragraph of article 1 of the Water code of the Republic of Armenia of June 4, 2002 (further - the Code) the words "the body authorized by the Government of the Republic of Armenia" shall be replaced with words "the body subordinated to the ministry".
Article 2. Add the code with Article 1.1 of the following content:
"Article 1.1. Governing body of water systems
1. Governing body of water systems is the Water committee subordinated to the ministry.".
Article 3. To add article 3 of the Code with the new offer of the following content:
"The government develops investment policy of water systems.".
Article 4. In article 12 of the Code:
Heading to state 1) in the following edition:
"Article 12. Powers of governing body of water systems";
Item 6 to state 2) in the following edition:
"6) takes part in works on development of investment policy of water systems and provides their implementation, and also will organize examination of investing programs;";
Shall be replaced with words 3) in Item 7 of the word "if it is provided by the Government" "in the cases provided by the law";
To add 4) with Items 15-17 of the following content:
"15) according to the Code of the Republic of Armenia about administrative offenses is performed by administrative production on the cases on administrative offenses assigned to it;
16) sets restrictions and regulations of use of water lands and zones of protection of their water ecosystems;
17) according to the procedure, established by the law and other legal acts, implements the corresponding administrative, statistic reports (questionnaires, references and other) and keeps administrative statistical registers based on supplied and the information collected with their help.".
