In pursuance of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 18, 2017 the No. UP-5016 "About Formation of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Assistance to the Privatized Companies and Development of the Competition" Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Approve Regulations on the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on assistance to the privatized companies and development of the competition according to appendix No. 1.

2. Recognize invalid some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 2.

3. To the ministries and departments to bring the regulatory legal acts adopted by them into accord with this resolution in a month.

4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. A. Kuchkarov.

Regulations on the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on assistance to the privatized companies and development of the competition

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. This Provision determines the status, the main objectives, activities, functions and the rights of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on assistance to the privatized companies and development of the competition (further - Goskomkonkurention).

Goskomkonkurention is state body in the field of assistance to the privatized companies, management of state-owned property, the security market, privatization, the antimonopoly policy, development of the competition, consumer protection, exchange, estimative, realtor and advertizing activities.

Goskomkonkurention is guided in the activities by the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and this Provision.

means of off-budget fund of Goskomkonkurention;

other sources which are not forbidden by the legislation.

7. Goskomkonkurention and his territorial authorities are legal entities, have seal and forms with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan and with the name in state language, and also the bank accounts opened according to the legislation.

Chapter 2. Tasks and priority activities of Goskomkonkurention

8. The most important task of Goskomkonkurention is full support of recovery and increase in efficiency of productive activity of the privatized companies, creation on this basis of the new workplaces providing strong growth of the income of the population, implementation of coordination for these purposes of activities of authorized state bodies, financial and other market structures in close interaction with Chamber of Commerce and Industry and state governing bodies on places.

9. Priority activities of Goskomkonkurention are:

forming of constantly updated database and register of the privatized objects by industries, regions and various forms of privatization, and also the register of the state assets;
