About classification of boring bar according to the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union

According to Item 7 of article 52 of the Customs Code of the Customs Union the Board of the Eurasian economic commission decided:

1. According to the Basic rule of interpretation of the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity 1 in goods item 7304 single Commodity nomenclatures of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union the boring bar corresponding to the following criteria is classified:

a) represents seamless pipe with permanent cross section on all length of pipe, with one closed cavity along all length of pipe, with internal and external surface, identical in form, with the welded locks located on the ends of pipe, one of which has outside conic carving, and another – female conic thread, and turnkey deepenings;

b) it is made of steel by casting;

c) it is intended for lengthening of boring column, torque transmission to the rock cutting tool, its descent and rise;

d) is consumable material which necessary quantity is determined by length (depth) of well.

2. This Decision becomes effective after 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
