ORDER OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

About approval of Strategy for ensuring equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for 2017-2021 and the Action plan on its implementation

Based on article 17 of the Law No. 5-XVI of February 9, 2006 on providing equal opportunities for women and men (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2006, Art. No. 47-50, 200), with subsequent changes and amendments, and for the purpose of ensuring integrated approach to question of equality between women and men in documents the politician in all areas and at all levels of acceptance and award enforcement DECIDES: the Government

1. Approve:

1) Strategy for ensuring equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for 2017-2021 according to appendix No. 1;

2) the Action plan on implementation of Strategy for ensuring equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for 2017-2021 according to appendix No. 2

2. To the ministries and other central administrative authorities:

1) to take necessary measures for goal achievement of Strategy for ensuring equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for 2017-2021 and the Action plan on its implementation;

2) to implement integrated approach to question of equality between women and men in industry strategic documents on development according to competences;

To represent 3) to the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family till March 1 of the year following after accounting year, the report on realization of actions of the specified Plan.

3. To assign monitoring and coordinating of implementation process of Strategy for ensuring equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for 2017-2021 to the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family which will report to the Government annually till April 30.

4. Financing of the actions provided in this resolution will be performed for the account and within budgets of the involved organizations / public bodies, and also at the expense of other sources which are not forbidden by the legislation.

5. It is recommended to bodies of local public authority to take the measures necessary for realization of the purposes of Strategy for ensuring equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for 2017-2021 and the Action plan on its implementation.

6. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on Government commission on gender equality.
