RESOLUTION OF THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

About measures for further enhancement of procedure for licensing of medical activities

According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About licensing of separate types of activity" and in pursuance of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 1, 2017 "About measures for further private sector development of health care" the Cabinet of Ministers decides No. PP-2863:

1. Ceased to be valid according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 21.02.2022 No. 80

2. Determine that:

licensed requirements and conditions are distributed on the medical organizations which again submitted the applications for obtaining or license renewal and also on the acting licensees in case of their address for renewal of the license;

earlier granted licenses for implementation of medical activities are effective before the expiration of their action.

3. To the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan to approve in a month:

the nomenclature of types of medical specializations by which medical activities are performed;

the minimum requirements to material and technical resources, the equipment and other technical means, including to medical equipment necessary for implementation of the corresponding type of medical specialization, and also criteria determining degree of the obsolete medical equipment depending on type of the medical organization;

the list of medical specialties on which doctors of the corresponding specialty have the right to replace positions of doctors by the licensed types of medical specializations;

forms of statements on obtaining, prolongation and renewal of the license;

form of the expert opinion on issue or of refusal in licensing.

4. To the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

in a month together with the interested ministries and departments to bring the regulatory legal acts adopted by them into accord with this resolution;

together with Association of doctors of private practice of Uzbekistan to carry out broad explanatory work with the non-state medical organizations for accomplishment of provisions of this resolution to two-month time.

5. This resolution becomes effective since July 1, 2017.

6. Item 1 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 29, 2012 No. 92 "About enhancement of procedure for licensing of medical activities" (joint venture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2012, No. 3, Art. 21), and also to recognize appendices No. No. 1 and 2 to it voided since July 1, 2017.

7. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. K. Shadmanov and Information analysis department concerning health care, ecology, environmental protections, physical culture and sport of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
