About the National coordinator on goal achievement of sustainable development
1. Determine that general coordination of activities of state bodies and other organizations for implementation of the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations of September 25, 2015 No. 70/1 "Transformation of our world: The agenda in the field of sustainable development for the period till 2030" is performed by the National coordinator on goal achievement of sustainable development.
2. Approve the enclosed Regulations on the National coordinator on goal achievement of sustainable development.
3. No. 52 is excluded according to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of 13.02.2020
4. To heads of state bodies and other organizations according to appendix to determine from among the deputies of the Sustainable development goals, responsible for realization, containing in the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations of September 25, 2015 No. 70/1.
5. This Decree becomes effective after its official publication.

1. The national coordinator on goal achievement of sustainable development (further - the National coordinator) performs general coordination of activities of state bodies and other organizations for achievement by the Republic of Belarus of the Sustainable development goals containing in the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations of September 25, 2015 No. 70/1 "Transformation of our world: The agenda in the field of sustainable development for the period till 2030" (further - Sustainable development goals).
2. The national coordinator is appointed to position and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Belarus according to the offer of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
3. The national coordinator performs the functions along with job responsibilities on principle place of employment.
4. In the activities the National coordinator is guided by this Provision, other acts of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and international treaties of the Republic of Belarus.
5. The main objectives of the National coordinator are:
the analysis and assessment of progress in achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus on the basis of system of national indicators;
organization of development of the system of national fill rates of Sustainable development goals and procedure for carrying out their monitoring;
informing in accordance with the established procedure the President of the Republic of Belarus and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus about the course of achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus (at least once a year) and introduction of offers on increase in efficiency of this work;
assistance to forming of state policy for achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus taking into account national priorities in economic, social and ecological areas;
the organization of interaction of state bodies and other organizations for accounting of Sustainable development goals in national, industry and regional strategy, programs and plans;
informing the public concerning achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus;
participation in work on realization of international initiatives of the Republic of Belarus in the field of sustainable development;
assistance to attraction of the international technical assistance for implementation of actions on achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus.
6. The national coordinator according to the tasks assigned to him has the right:
bring in state bodies and other organizations of the offer on increase in efficiency of activities for achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus;
request and receive from state bodies and other organizations required information and analytical, reference and other materials concerning achievement of Sustainable development goals by the Republic of Belarus;
participate in the meetings held by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, state bodies and other organizations on discussion of results and the prospects of social and economic development;
represent to the United Nations, other international organizations, and also within participation in the international actions reports on progress of the Republic of Belarus in goal achievement of sustainable development;
organize the actions devoted to Sustainable development goals and emphasizing importance of their achievement by the Republic of Belarus;
perform other powers provided by acts of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
7. The national coordinator heads Council for sustainable development (further - Council) which is advisory and consultative body.
Meetings of Council are convened by the National coordinator as required, but at least once a year.
The deputy managers of state bodies and other organizations determined responsible for realization of Sustainable development goals are part of Council.
