1. Approve the enclosed Rules of fishery.

2. Recognize invalid some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to appendix.

3. This resolution becomes effective after ten calendar days from the date of its official publication.

Rules of fishery

1. General provisions

1. These rules of fishery (further - Rules) are developed according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 9, 2004 "About protection, reproduction and use of fauna" and regulate procedure for the organization and carrying out fishery on fishery reservoirs and (or) their sites by physical persons and legal entities.

2. Action of these rules does not extend to the fishery reservoirs and (or) sites used under artificial cultivation of fishes and other water animals.

3. For the purposes of these rules the authorized body in the field of protection, reproduction and use of fauna is understood as the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - authorized body).

4. Fishery - fishing of fish resources and other water animals.

5. Fishery is performed by the fishing tools included in the List of the trade and not trade types of tools of fishing allowed for use established by authorized body with observance of Restrictions and prohibitions on use of fauna.

10. Withdrawal of sturgeon species of fish from the native habitat by the state companies of reproduction complex for the purpose of their artificial cultivation, and also legal entities in case of research fishing is performed according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

12. Water traffic during the spawning period, forbidden for fishery, and also on reservoirs and (or) sites, forbidden for fishery, is performed according to the Traffic regulation of water transport during the spawning period, forbidden for fishery, and also in reservoirs and (or) sites, forbidden for fishery, determined by authorized body.

10) fishing of less established trade measure;

11) to destroy or spoil the columns, floating identification marks and notices designating borders of zimovalny holes, spawning areas, fishing sites and places, forbidden for fishery;

12) catch of fish on channels (uzyak) connecting lakes among themselves and the main river, the bringing canals and withdrawal of meliorative systems, at distance is closer than 500 m before mouths of the rivers and channels in both parties from their confluence and on 500 m deep into of reservoir, and also pas distance of 1500 m up the river or the canal.

Note: this regulation does not extend to reservoirs of the Uralo-Caspian Basin;
