About measures for the organization of activities of newly created research establishments of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of ensuring realization of necessary measures for the organization of activities of the transferred to structure of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and newly created Cabinet of Ministers research establishments in its structure decides:

1. Take into consideration that the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 17, 2017 No. PP-2789 "About measures for further enhancement of activities of Academy of Sciences, the organization, managements and financings of research activities" (further - Academy of Sciences) is transferred to structure of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Institute of history, and also the Institute of mathematics of V. I. Romanovsky, Institute of nuclear physics, Institute of ion-plasma and laser technologies of name U.A are newly created. Arifova, Institute of mechanics and seismic stability of constructions of M. T. Urazbayev, Institute of chemistry and physics of polymers, Institute of oriental studies of Abu Raykhan Beruni, Institute of archaeological researches of Ya. Gulomov, Institute of Uzbek, literature and folklore and the State museum of literature of Alisher Navoiy (further - newly created research establishments).

2. Determine the main objectives and activities:

Institute of history of Academy of Sciences - development of theoretical and methodological aspects of archaeological and ethnological researches, the organization of system studying of history of Uzbekistan of the period of the second half XIX - the beginnings of the 20th centuries, implementation of researches on history of statehood of the Uzbek people on the basis of objective approach, non-admission of falsification of the past, comprehensive and in-depth study of the questions connected with modern and contemporary history of Uzbekistan in the context of world civilization development;

Institute of mathematics of V. I. Romanovsky of Academy of Sciences - carrying out scientific research in the priority directions of mathematical sciences at the level of international standards: algebra and functional analysis, differential equations and mathematical physics, theory of dynamic systems, geometry and topology, probability theory and mathematical statistics, applied mathematics and mathematical modeling;

Institute of nuclear physics of Academy of Sciences - carrying out researches in the perspective directions of physics of kernel, elementary particles and applied nuclear physics, radiation physics of solid body and physics of nanomaterials, nuclear analytics and radiochemistry, scientific instrument making and applied electronics;

Institute of ion-plasma and laser technologies of name U.A. Arifova of Academy of Sciences - carrying out scientific research in the field of electronics, photonics, molecular physics and thermophysics, technology of semi-conductor and new materials, development of original ion-plasma, laser technologies and devices taking into account current world trends;

Institute of mechanics and seismic stability of constructions of M. T. Urazbayev of Academy of Sciences - development of scientific fundamentals of mechanics of deformable solid body, mechanics of soil, mechanics of liquid and gas, methods of experimental mechanics, the theory of mechanisms and machines, dynamics and durability of designs, problems of seismic stability of constructions and preparation of recommendations about ensuring their seismic safety, methods of their active seismoprotection, strategy development of decrease in seismic risk for life support systems;

Institute of chemistry and physics of polymers of Academy of Sciences - carrying out scientific research in the field of natural and synthetic polymers, nanocomposition materials, development and deepening of scientific research in the field of nanochemistry, nanophysics, nanotechnology of high-molecular connections, creation of alternative energy sources of the third generation on polymeric basis, creation and implementation in industries of economy of new domestic polymeric medicines, materials and technologies;

Institute of oriental studies of Abu Raykhan Beruni of Academy of Sciences - ensuring safety, systematization, restoration, digitization of ancient and medieval east manuscripts and historical documents in east languages, creation and maintaining electronic base of the unique manuscripts which are stored in Uzbekistan, the organization of their deep system studying and creation of scientific descriptions;

Institute of archaeological researches of Ya. Gulomov of Academy of Sciences - studying of history of material and spiritual culture of Uzbekistan since the Old Stone Age before the developed Middle Ages inclusive, development of chronology and periodization of cultures of the researched periods, development of the territory of Uzbekistan by the primitive person, forming of civilization, the early cities and statehood, outlook of ancient societies, origin and development of world religions, crafts, metallurgy and mining, identification, mapping and introduction in scientific turnover of archaeological monuments;

Institute of Uzbek, literature and folklore of Academy of Sciences - research of historically created literary, linguistic schools and doctrines of Uzbek, literature and folklore, creation of basic academic and educational grammars of Uzbek, carrying out scientific research on phonetic system of Uzbek, research of the principles of historical development of Uzbek, literature and folklore, and also laws of modern language and literary processes, questions of influence of national literary traditions on the current state of language and literature, studying of specificity of Uzbek and literature in the context of interrelation of languages and literatures;

The state museum of literature of Alisher Navoiy of Academy of Sciences - creation of exposition halls since the most ancient times till today, periodic replenishment of funds of the museum new documentary materials, exhibits, unique finds, educational work in the general public and youth with the cultural and literary monuments which are stored in the museum by the organization and holding excursions, implementation on this basis of the international scientific requirements of facsimile editions of the unique manuscripts which are stored in fund of the museum.

3. Approve structures of Institute of history, Institute of mathematics of V. I. Romanovsky, Institute of nuclear physics, Institute of ion-plasma and laser technologies of name U.A. Arifova, Institute of mechanics and seismic stability of constructions of M. T. Urazbayev, Institute of chemistry and physics of polymers, Institute of oriental studies of Abu Raykhan Beruni, Institute of archaeological researches of Ya. Gulomov, Institute of Uzbek, literature and folklore and the State museum of literature of Alisher Navoiy of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendices No. 1 - 10.

Grant the right to the president of Academy of Sciences, if necessary, to make changes to the approved structures of research establishments within the total established number of workers and the salary fund.

4. Determine that sources of financing of activities of newly created research establishments of Academy of Sciences are:
