The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of youth and sport of the Republic of Moldova which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

expressing intention to develop and consolidate common efforts on implementation of the state youth policy,

noting general interest in development of the international youth cooperation,

expressing aspiration to creating favorable conditions for development of youth cooperation as factor of preserving and deepening of friendship,

in view of the increasing role of youth at the present stage of development of society,

confirming desire to expand and enhance the international youth cooperation on the principles of equality and for this purpose to establish cooperation between the state bodies and other organizations participating in realization of the state youth policy

considering that the cooperation on creating favorable conditions on work with youth is designed to promote strengthening of mutual understanding and friendship between the people, to approval of universal values,

based on provisions of the Contract between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Moldova about cooperation in the field of youth policy of September 12, 1995,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The purpose of this agreement is development and strengthening of the cooperation of the Parties directed to civil and patriotic education of youth, assistance to forming of healthy lifestyle, civic consciousness forming, ensuring support of youth initiatives, realization of other joint projects within realization of youth policy of the states of the Parties.

Article 2

The priority directions of cooperation of the Parties are:

civil and patriotic education of youth;

assistance to forming of healthy lifestyle;

support of creation and functioning of youth public associations;

disclosure of creative potential of youth;

organization of labor employment of youth;

creation of conditions for development of youth socially significant initiatives;

development of the international youth cooperation.

Within the competence the Parties can perform other directions and forms of cooperation within this agreement.

Article 3

The cooperation of the Parties is implemented in the following forms:

interaction of youth when holding the international educational actions by creation of working groups, organizing committees, coordinating and advisory bodies;

joint participation in development and implementation of joint programs and plans for the purpose of involvement of youth in public life of the states of the Parties;

support of creation and functioning of youth public associations and attraction them to participation in the international educational events held in the territory of the states of the Parties;

mutual assistance in the solution of questions of the international youth cooperation;

development of information and scientific support of realization of the state youth policy by involvement of youth in different scientific programs and projects.

Article 4

Accomplishment of the approved actions within this agreement is provided in the presence of sources of financing and according to the national legal system of the states of the Parties.

Article 5

By mutual consent of the Parties changes and additions which are drawn up by separate protocols can be made to this agreement.

The specified protocols become effective according to provisions of Article 7 of this agreement.

Article 6

Disagreements in interpretation or application of provisions of this agreement are permitted by consultations and negotiations between the Parties.

Article 7

This agreement becomes effective from the moment of its signing and is effective within 5 (five) years.

After this term the Agreement will be prolonged automatically for the subsequent five-year periods if any of the Parties does not notify other Party on the intention to terminate this agreement at least in six months prior to the expiration of its action.

In case of cancellation of this agreement of its provision will continue to be applied to all actions approved and realized during operation of the Agreement if in each case of the Party in writing do not agree about other.

It is made in Chisinau on October 3, 2016 in two authentic copies, everyone in the Russian and Romanian languages, and all texts are equally authoritative.
