1. Approve the Instruction about the organization of work on currency circulation by banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan (new edition) according to appendix.

2. Enact this resolution after ten days from the date of its registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

3. From the date of enforcement of this resolution to consider invalid the Instruction about the organization of work on currency circulation by banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by the resolution of Board of the Central bank on May 25, 2002 (reg. No. 1156), and also amendments 31 of August 24, 2002, No. 2 of March 1, 2003, No. 3 of December 27, 2003 and 34 of October 2, 2004.

Instruction on the organization of work on currency circulation by banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan (new edition)

This Instruction according to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "About banks and banking activity" and the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 5, 2005 No. PP-147 "About guarantees of uninterrupted ensuring cash payments from deposit accounts in banks" establishes procedure for the organization of work on currency circulation by banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

I. General provisions

1. Central Bank has exclusive right to release of bank notes in the address in the form of banknotes and coins.

2. Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the purpose of storage of not released bank notes will organize reserve funds in the Head territorial administrations of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - GTU Central Bank).

3. In all branches of commercial banks and in the commercial banks which do not have branches turnover cash desks, and also reserve of cash for timely satisfaction of demand of clients in cash will without fail be organized.

GTU Central Bank establishes on each branch of commercial bank, and also on each commercial bank which does not have branches, limit of the maximum remaining balance of cash in turnover cash desk, and on reserves of cash together with commercial banks - limit of the minimum balance in cash.

II. Forecasting of cash money turnover

4. Forecasting of cash money turnover in the Republic of Uzbekistan is performed by creation of the forecast of cash turnovers of banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and GTU Central Bank, and also commercial banks perform the forecast of cash turnovers for the corresponding territory and the analysis of condition of currency circulation.

5. The forecast of cash turnovers of banks of the republic is constituted on the basis of indicators of forecast calculation of economic and social development of the republic and the budget of the republic.

6. The forecast of cash turnovers is constituted on the following main sources of receipts and the directions of cash disbursement of money:
