About measures for implementation of new samples of the national car driver license and the registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle

1. Agree with the offer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on step-by-step implementation of the new samples of the national car driver license and the registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle made on the basis of plastic forms.

2. Approve new samples:

the national car driver license and its description according to appendix No. 1;

registration certificates of the automotor-vehicle and its description according to appendix No. 2;

the coupon about passing of technical inspection by the automotor-vehicle and its description according to appendix No. 3.

3. Determine that:

since October 1, 2017 issue of new samples, respectively, the national car driver license - is performed in case of execution of the national car driver license and registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle - in case of registration (re-registration) of the automotor-vehicle;

the national car driver license of new sample is issued for a period of 10 years from the date of issue;

replacement of the existing national car driver licenses by new samples is performed:

from October 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018 on voluntary basis - for national car driver licenses of old sample, irrespective of date of their issue, according to the written application of their owner;

from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021 without fail - for all national car driver licenses of old sample, irrespective of date of their issue;

replacement of registration certificates of the automotor-vehicle by new samples is performed step by step during 2017 - 2021 - when passing by the automotor-vehicle of obligatory technical inspection;

national car driver licenses and registration certificates of the automotor-vehicle of old sample since January 1, 2022 are considered not as valid.

4. Declare invalid since October 1, 2017 the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 19, 2006 No. 261 "About approval of new sample of the national car driver license on the right of control of automotor-vehicles in the Republic of Uzbekistan".

5. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments in three-months time:

introduce the draft of the Regulations on order of registration (re-registration) of automotor-vehicles to the Cabinet of Ministers, having provided in it simplification of registration procedures and implementation of plastic forms of registration certificates of automotor-vehicles, and also offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this resolution;

bring the departmental regulatory legal acts into accord with this resolution.

6. To provide to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with National broadcasting company of Uzbekistan and National news agency of Uzbekistan extended coverage in printing and electronic mass media, including Internet editions, the purposes, procedure and conditions of step-by-step implementation of new samples of the national car driver license and registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle on the basis of plastic forms.

7. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the chairman of the board of JSC Uzbekiston temir yullari A. Zh. Ramatov and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. A. Azizov.

 Description of the national car driver license

The national car driver license is made of plastic on the basis of recommendations of international standards. The certificate size from plastic constitutes 54 x 86 mm.
