1. These rules determine procedure for branch and valuation of cutting areas in the woods of the Republic of Belarus.
2. Requirements of these rules are obligatory for all legal entities conducting forestry and also for the forest users performing procurement of wood in forest fund of the Republic of Belarus.
3. Branch and valuation of cutting areas in the territories which underwent to radioactive pollution as a result of catastrophic crash on the Chernobyl NPP are performed according to the Rules of forest management in the territories which underwent to radioactive pollution as a result of catastrophic crash on the Chernobyl NPP approved by the resolution of the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Belarus of December 27, 2016 No. 86.
4. In these rules the following terms and determinations are applied:
viewfinder - the strip up to 1 meter wide which is cut through in the wood for the purpose of otgranicheniye and (or) shooting of sites of forest fund, carrying out taxation, prospecting, other work types;
business wood (large) - round wood thickness in the upper cut of 26 centimeters and more without bark;
business wood (small) - round wood thickness in the upper cut from 6 to 13 centimeters without bark;
business wood (average) - round wood thickness in the upper cut from 14 to 24 centimeters without bark;
class of age of forest stand - the age interval applied to the characteristic of age structure of forest stands depending on wood breed;
ликвид from krone - wood from the upper part of tree with boughs and branches which can be used (is realized) in fuel quality or for other purposes;
