About protection of foreign investments in Ukraine
Article 1. Investments, profits, legitimate rights and interests of foreign investors in the territory of Ukraine are protected by its laws.
Article 2. Foreign investors shall observe the legislation of Ukraine and not cause damage to its state, social, economic interests.
Article 3. The state cannot confiscate foreign investments, except as specified natural disasters, accidents, epidemics, epizooty. The decision on requisition of foreign investments is made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Compensation paid in these cases to the foreign investor, shall be adequate and effective.
Article 4. Transfer abroad of their profits and other amounts both in karbovanets, and in foreign currency, received on legal causes is guaranteed to foreign investors.
Article 5. Foreign investors can reinvest profits in the territory of Ukraine.
Article 6. Foreign investors pay the taxes established by the legislation of Ukraine.
Article 7. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine till September 17, 1991 to prepare and make in the Supreme Council of Ukraine offers on the list of the types of activity performed by foreign investors on special permission (license) and procedure for such licensing.
