According to requirements of Item 13 of the Procedure for appointment and payment of the one-time monetary assistance in case of death (death), disability or partial disablement without establishment of disability of the military personnel, persons liable for call-up and reservists called on educational (or checking) and special charges or for the service in war reserve approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 25, 2013 No. 975, of Regulations on payment procedure of the compensation amounts the serviceman, to faces of the private and the commanding structure which became disabled people, to members of families of the military personnel, faces of the private and the commanding structure which died in case of fulfillment of duties of military service or service in law-enforcement bodies as a part of the national contingent or national personnel and also in other separate cases the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved by the resolution of May 5, 1994 to No. 290, for the purpose of legal and social protection of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, persons discharged from military service from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the USSR who became disabled people of persons liable for call-up and reservists who became disabled people owing to wound (contusion, injury or mutilation) or the diseases connected with their appeal on educational (or checking) and special charges or for service in war reserve, to members of families of the died (died) military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the dead in case of fulfillment of duties of military service as a part of the national contingent or national personnel, and also in other separate cases I order:

1. Approve Regulations on the Commission of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine on consideration of the questions connected with appointment and payment of the one-time monetary assistance and the compensation amounts which is applied.

2. This order becomes effective from the date of its official publication.

Regulations on the Commission of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine on consideration of the questions connected with appointment and payment of the one-time monetary assistance and the compensation amounts

I. General provisions

1. This Provision determines the main functions, tasks, powers of the Commission of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine on consideration of the questions connected with appointment and payment of the one-time monetary assistance and the compensation amounts (further - the Commission), and also procedure for the organization of its work.

2. The commission is formed in the office of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine for the purpose of accomplishment of Item 13 of the Procedure for appointment and payment of the one-time monetary assistance in case of death (death), disability or partial disablement without establishment of disability of the military personnel, persons liable for call-up and reservists called on educational (or checking) and special charges or for the service in war reserve approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 25, 2013 No. 975 (further - procedure), and Regulations on payment procedure of the compensation amounts the serviceman, to faces of the private and the commanding structure which became disabled people, to members of families of the military personnel, faces of the private and the commanding structure which died in case of fulfillment of duties of military service or service in law-enforcement bodies as a part of the national contingent or national personnel and also in other separate cases, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved by the resolution of May 5, 1994 No. 290.

The structure of the Commission on positions is determined by the order of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

3. The commission consists of the chairman, the vice-chairman, the secretary and members of the commission from among heads (deputy managers) of structural divisions of the office of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

4. In the activities the Commission is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine accepted according to the Constitution of Ukraine and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other acts of the legislation of Ukraine and this Provision.

II. Main objectives and functions of the Commission

1. The main objectives of the Commission is studying of documents and decision making about appointment (refusal in appointment) the one-time monetary assistance, the stipulated in Article 16 Laws of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" article 21-4 of the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" and the compensation amounts the serviceman who became disabled people, to members of families of the military personnel who died in case of fulfillment of duties of military service as a part of the national contingent or national personnel and also in other separate cases provided by General Assembly resolutions and the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 5, 1994 No. 290 "About approval of the Regulations on payment procedure of the compensation amounts by the serviceman, to faces of the private and the commanding structure which became disabled people, to members of families of the military personnel, faces of the private and the commanding structure the dead in case of fulfillment of duties of military service or service in law-enforcement bodies as a part of the national contingent or national personnel, and also in other separate cases".
