About the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "About restriction of use of dangerous substances in products of electrical equipment and radio electronics"
According to article 52 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 and Item 29 of appendix №1 to the Regulations of work of the Eurasian economic commission approved by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic council of December 23, 2014 № 98, Council of the Eurasian economic commission decided:
1. Accept the enclosed technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "About restriction of use of dangerous substances in products of electrical equipment and radio electronics" (TR EEU 037/2016).
2. Determine that the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "About restriction of use of dangerous substances in products of electrical equipment and radio electronics" (TR EEU 037/2016) becomes effective since March 1, 2018.
3. This Decision shall enter into force upon the expiry of 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.

1. This technical regulation is developed according to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 for the purpose of ensuring protection of life and health of the person, the environment, and also the prevention of actions, the misleading consumers (users) of products of electrical equipment and radio electronics concerning content in them dangerous substances.
This technical regulation establishes obligatory for application and execution in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (further – the Union) requirements for restriction of use of dangerous substances in the products of electrical equipment and radio electronics released in the territory of the Union for ensuring their free movement.
If concerning products of electrical equipment and radio electronics other technical regulations of the Union (Customs union) establishing requirements to these products are accepted, then such products of electrical equipment and radio electronics shall conform to requirements of all technical regulations of the Union (Customs union) which action extends to them.
2. Action of this technical regulation extends to the products of electrical equipment and radio electronics released in the territory of the Union according to the list according to appendix № 1.
3. Action of this technical regulation does not extend on:
a) product of electrical equipment and radio electronics, held for use with rated voltage more than 1000 V of alternating current and 1500 V of direct current if other is not provided by appendix № 1 to this technical regulation;
b) the products of electrical equipment and radio electronics intended only for use as components of the electric equipment which is not included in the list provided by appendix №1 to this technical regulation;
