Regulations on Space committee of the Ministry of the defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. The space committee of the Ministry of the defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - Committee) is the department of the Ministry of the defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - the Ministry) performing regulating, realizable and control functions, and also participating in accomplishment of strategic functions of the Ministry in the field of space activities.

3) also representation of interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the international organizations and foreign states participates in implementation of international cooperation in the field of space activities;

9) develops standard rates of costs for creation, operation and development of objects of space infrastructure;

10) participates in development of technical regulations and national standards in the field of space activities;

11) is developed by procedure for coordination and decision making about starts of space objects from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also beyond its limits in case of their implementation by the Kazakhstan participants of space activities;

12) develops the qualification requirements imposed to activities in the sphere of use of space;

13) is developed by procedure for state registration of space objects and the rights to them;

14) the procedure for candidate screen in astronauts and assignments of the status of the candidate for astronauts develops, the astronaut;
