decides:
1. Approve:
Standard regulations on representative offices of the ministries, departments, other state bodies, the organizations and the companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad according to appendix No. 2.
2. Determine that the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades of the Republic of Uzbekistan quarterly informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the registered representative offices of the ministries, departments, other state bodies, the organizations and the companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.
3. Take into consideration that: heads of diplomatic representations and consular establishments of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad render assistance and perform coordination of activities of other representations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, delegations and groups of specialists which are in the state of stay;
heads of representations and groups of specialists inform diplomatic representations or consular establishments on the activities, render them assistance in implementation of their functions.
4. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sultanov U. T. and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kamilov A. H.

1. The ministries, departments, other state bodies, the organizations, the companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - hereinafter are referred to as the founder) can open in foreign states of representation, general representations or regional representative offices (further hereinafter are referred to as - representation).
The representation is a part of the system of the ministry, departments, other state body, the organization, the company of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to which offer it was founded.
The representation abroad is established as independent representation or is part of general or regional representative office.
The general representation can be established in the state in which there are two or more representative offices of the ministry, department or other state body, the organization, the company of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also in the states where that is required by the high level of their interests.
The regional representative office abroad is established for group of the states connected among themselves on economic and geographical signs.
2. The representation is registered according to the legislation of the state of stay.
3. The representation in the activities is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this Provision, constituent documents of representation, and also the legislation of the state of stay.
4. The number of personnel of representation is determined, proceeding from requirements of the relevant ministry, department, other state body, organization, company of the Republic of Uzbekistan, taking into account the conditions existing in the state of stay.
5. In representations structures of political parties, religious and public associations, except for labor unions cannot be formed.
6. The staff of representation and members of their families shall observe the laws and regulations, to respect traditions and customs of the state in the territory of which the representation functions.
7. The staff of representation and members of their families is forbidden to be engaged in business or business activity for the purpose of personal benefit.
8. Representations abroad open for the purpose of:
researches of opportunities of development, deepening and enhancement of forms of cooperation;
effective assistance in implementation of agreements on cooperation in the field of trade, economy, finance, science and technology, transport, tourism, culture and other areas;
developments of trade and economic relations and expansion of exchange of economic, commercial and scientific and technical information;
carrying out marketing researches and rendering the practical help with promotion of domestic goods on the foreign markets, including holding of conferences, exhibitions, exit fairs and promotion companies;
ensuring accomplishment of commercial transactions and other agreements:
effective development assistance of export and import of machines, equipment, goods and services, implementation of their maintenance, acquaintance with the latest developments of the world equipment.
The main objectives, functions, structure and the organization of activities of representation are determined according to their constituent documents and specifics of the founder.
9. Diplomatic representations and consular establishments of the Republic of Uzbekistan perform coordination of activities of the representations which are in the state of stay. The representation informs diplomatic representations and consular establishments on the activities and renders them assistance in implementation of their functions.
The chief representative without fail shall inform diplomatic representation or consular establishment on all facts of violation by the staff of representation of the rules of conduct abroad provided by founders.
In the absence of diplomatic representations and consular establishments of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the preliminary arrangement the representation renders assistance in the state of stay to the officials, delegations, groups of specialists of the ministries and departments, other state bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan arriving to the state of stay in official journey.
10. The regional representative office is headed by the regional representative, general representation - the general representative, representation - the founder's representative.
